To avoid domestic abuse, Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Center has encouraged spinsters to be aware of warning signs while courting.

This comes only days after Osinachi Nwachukwu, a gospel singer, died after a battle with her husband, who allegedly dehumanized her on multiple occasions.

The FCT Police Command has detained the husband, Peter Nwachukwu. DSP Josephine Adeh, the command’s spokesman, confirmed the arrest and said the inquiry is still underway.

Meanwhile, Pastor Enenche’s name has been dragged through the mud on social media for reportedly neglecting to advise Osinachi, the church’s music minister, to leave her husband after the violence.

The preacher, who has remained silent about the event, uploaded a video on his verified Facebook page on Monday morning encouraging teenagers to shun partners who show signs of violence.

“A man who can slap you during wooing can kill you after marriage,” he remarked.
