Sarkodie Early Life:
Sarkodie was born Michael Owusu Addo on July 10, 1988, in Tema, Ghana. He is the fourth of five children born to Augustine Owusu Addo and Maame Aggrey. Sarkodie’s father was a security guard and his mother was a petty trader.
Sarkodie grew up in a poor neighborhood in Tema. He started rapping at the age of 4, and he quickly developed a talent for it. He would rap about his life experiences and the challenges he faced growing up.
