Wizkid and Burna Boy, two of Nigeria’s biggest composers and singers, have put Nigerians in a perpetual state of joy as they celebrate their first-ever Grammy trophies.

Multiple music nominees competed at the 63rd annual Grammy Awards. Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, and Burna Boy were the three Nigerian candidates that made the cut.

Wizkid won the best music video award for “Brown Skin Girl,” which is owned by American singer Beyonce. Burna Boy was named the winner of the best worldwide album award for his album “Twice as tall,” which he won with his album “Twice as tall.”

The African creatures deserve congratulations on winning their first Grammy honors.
