Oludemilade Martin Alejo, known professionally as Ycee, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is known for his fusion of hip hop, trap, Afrobeats, Afro-house, hyphy, R&B, and alte.

Ycee Early Life:

Oludemilade Martin Alejo, better known by his stage name Ycee, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter. He was born on January 29, 1993, in Festac Town, Lagos State, Nigeria. He attended Dr. Soyemi Memorial Nursery and Primary School and the Nigerian Navy Secondary School in Ojo. He then went on to study marine biology at the University of Lagos.

Ycee Career:

Ycee returned to the music scene in 2015 with the release of the song “Condo”, which features vocals by Patoranking. The song was a critical and commercial success, and it earned him two nominations at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards. He followed up the success of “Condo” with the release of the singles “Jagaban” and “Naija Craze”.

In 2016, Ycee signed a record deal with Sony Music Entertainment. He released his debut studio album, “The First Wave”, in 2017. The album was a commercial success, and it spawned the singles “Juice”, “Say Bye Bye”, and “Omo Alhaji”.

In 2019, Ycee left Tinny Entertainment and launched his own record label, ANBT. He released his second studio album, “Ycee vs Zaheer”, in the same year.
