Asake attended LEA Primary School, Anguwan Rimi, Zangon Kataf local government area of Kaduna. After his primary school, he proceeded to Bible College, Kagoro, Kaura LGA of the state, and upon completing the Bible College, he went to Kagoro Teachers College.

Asake was another struggling artist in the vast working-class Ikorodu neighborhood of Lagos a few months prior. Asake, an Obafemi Awolowo University graduate in Theatre Arts with a talent for dance, says he decided to pursue singing later in life for financial reasons, a move that has now paid off.
