Eniola Ajao finally judgment about Bobrisky becoming the Best Dressed Female
Eniola Ajao, a Nigerian actress and filmmaker has spoken out concerning Bobrisky’s recent acceptance as the “Best Dressed Female” award at the premiere of her film “Ajakaju.”
According to her, She said that several celebrities attended the Sunday premiere of her much-awaited movie, “Ajanaku: Beast of Two Worlds.”
To the surprise of many, Bobrisky won the title of Best Dressed Female of the Night and a one million naira prize which made some attendees were not happy with this decision.
After Bobrisky’s victory, a contentious debate involving Toyin Abraham, Portable, Dayo Amusa, and other individuals went viral on social media.
Leading to a public argument between Femi Adebayo and Dayo Amusa, who chastised the actor for supporting Bobrisky as the victor, the situation worsened.
Eniola clarified in an interview with Arise News TV that choosing Bobrisky as the winner was a calculated choice meant to attract attention and advance her movie as part of a calculated marketing strategy.
She emphasized that Bobrisky’s contentious image played a significant role in this choice, as she intended to increase publicity for her project by giving him the title of Best Dressed Female.
“It was just jokes,” Ajao remarked. All we want to do is have fun. We want the film to be discussed. I decided with my team that it had to be in people’s faces.
We, therefore, decided to award Bobrisky the Best Dressed Female title because of his long history of controversy. People began talking about it at the end of the day, but not everyone was pleased. The person who gave the award, Femi Adebayo, was called out by them. He was not one of the judges; he just presented it. It wasn’t his idea. Please refrain from criticizing him, Nigerians.
