APPLY: NFF Begins Search For Super Eagles Head Coach After Peseiro’s Departure

It has been officially announced by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) that there are vacancies for the Head coach positions open for the senior men’s national team, the Super Eagles, and the U-17 boys national team, the Golden Eaglets.
The announcement comes after the contracts of the previous coaches expired, marking a new era in Nigerian football leadership.
Last week Friday, Jose Peseiro, the former head coach of the Super Eagles, finished his time in charge, and Nduka Ugbade, the previous coach of the Golden Eaglets, also left his role.
Peseiro, a coach from Portugal, notably guided the Super Eagles to an impressive second-place finish at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The NFF officially shared the qualifications needed for these important coaching positions through their official channels. They also provided application links, inviting dedicated and skilled football coaches to apply for these roles.

Vacancy 1: Head Coach of the Super Eagles
The NFF is welcoming applications from coaches who have the right qualifications and have shown they can handle top-level football teams. The things they’re looking for include:
- Relevant Coaching Qualification
- Knowledge of African football (an added advantage)
- Proven experience at an elite level of football management
- A successful track record of leading teams

Vacancy 2: Head Coach of the Golden Eaglets
