As he gets ready for the Usyk fight, Tyson Fury discusses the new diet that inspired his physical transformation

The heavyweight boxing champion, Tyson Fury, has amazed fans with his body transformation and shared his new diet with them.

Following the cancellation of Fury’s February bout against Oleksandr Usyk of Ukraine due to a cut he received during sparring, boxing fans have recently praised Fury’s weight loss.

Fury is still getting ready for his highly anticipated fight against Oleksandr Usyk, which is scheduled for May 18 in Saudi Arabia.

Now that he has given supporters a taste of what he has been consuming to prepare for

Fury ate a very simple dinner of chicken, rice, and salad—what his nutritionist, Greg Marriott, refers to as a strict diet plan.

Marriott disclosed to Men’s Health earlier this month that Fury consumes 3,000 calories during rest days and 4,500–6,000 calories during training.

The goal of the diet is for Fury to maintain a healthy weight while still having enough energy for training.

Despite the WBC champion being in “amazing” shape, Marriott stated that he still needs to shed some more pounds before his bout with Usyk.

He told Men’s Health: “I can promise you, you’re gonna see a different Tyson Fury.

“Whatever I tell Tyson to do, he just adheres to it. He puts 100 percent trust in me.

“So for Tyson really, there is no challenges because he knows he’ll be in peak condition. He’s been there, done it, and got the t-shirts.

“I think for this fight, he just thought ‘I just want to get back to looking great’, and with that comes feeling great too, and being able to do the rounds.

“He’s happier knowing that he’s already in amazing shape now. He doesn’t have to think about getting weight off anymore. We’ve already done that. I’ve already got him the weight off.

“You’re gonna see another 50% on top of where he is now.”

Currently, the 35-year-old consumes up to six meals daily, compared to his previous intake of one or two meals per day.

His meals consist of fresh plum tomatoes, lean beef mince sausages, and two slices of toast spread with avocado butter, black pepper, and fresh garlic Tabasco for breakfast.

Omelets, fresh nuts, chia seeds, and oatmeal with protein can also be served for breakfast.

Fury has roasted veggies like broccoli, asparagus, and beetroot for lunch, along with a 400-gram filet steak with Dijon mustard.

After a close decision victory over Francis Ngannou in the previous year, Fury was criticized for his physical preparation.

But in May, he will face Usyk in a heavyweight match that will crown its first unified champion in 24 years and offer a whooping £100 million in prize money.
