Governor Alex Otti Officially Signed the End Of 41.5 km Abia North Roads

On Wednesday, Governor Alex Otti officially opened the 30-kilometer Arochukwu-Ndiokereke-Ozuabam road project.

Reporters on the results of the State Executive Council meeting in Umuahia, Prince Okey Kanu, Commissioner for Information, revealed that the Governor would also flag off the 11.5-kilometer Nunya-Eluama-Isuikwuato road in a week.

This is happening just one month after the governor gave the go-ahead to reconstruct the Abiriba-Ohafia road and the Umuahia-Uzuakoli-Akara road.

According to the Commissioner, Otti made the decision to focus on road infrastructure because of how crucial it is for accelerating economic growth.

“This is consistent with the strategic road infrastructure development initiative of the State government,” he stated.

The State Government will not back down in making sure that roads in the state are kept in very good motorable condition because roads are serious enablers for a good business environment.
