Mikel appears as Champions League guest, tips Man City or Arsenal for final

Today’s news – John Obi Mikel spoke about the 2023/2024 Champions League which will be held on Friday.

John Obi Mikel, a former midfielder for Chelsea and the Super Eagles, was invited by the football team in Europe to conduct the quarterfinal and semifinal draws in Nyon, Switzerland.

The Champions League will adopt a 36-team format starting with the upcoming season, meaning that this draw will be the final one ever.

Before the draw, when asked which teams would advance to the championship, Mikel grinned and said, “I would like an English club to make it into the final because it will take place in Wembley, England.”

He continued, “I hope Manchester City or Arsenal make it.“
