Two Students from Nasarawa State University feared dead in an outburst for Palliative treatment from the State Government

A rice stampede in Nasarawa is thought to have killed seven students.
Additionally, it was learned that students had taken over the arena, overpowered the security, and broken into the warehouse as early as five in the morning, which is what caused the stampede.

According to reports, seven students from Nasarawa State University in Keffi perished in a stampede while vying for rice that the state government was planning to give out as a palliative.

At approximately five in the morning, the students reportedly overpowered the campus security and forced their way into the warehouse where the food supplies were being stored in preparation for distribution on Friday morning.

Some students who were eligible for the Nasarawa State Government’s palliative care program were given identification cards that allowed them entry into the location of the distribution.
